Yasmeen Qureshi is an award-winning executive producer and director who has been creating impactful content for over 15 years. She has overseen and produced news documentaries and magazine segments for many leading networks that cover diverse topics, such as race, justice, politics, culture, and women's issues. In 2023 she won a Peabody Award and an Edward R. Murrow Award in the best news documentary category
Most recently, she was the executive producer and show runner of States of America, a USA TODAY documentary series for streaming that explored the stories and perspectives of Americans across the country. She also led the production of The Peace Studio Presents: Race, Justice & The Power of Words, a special program for WNET's All Arts that featured artists, activists, and journalists including Viola Davis, Common and Reverend Otis Moss III. Yasmeen is a graduate of the Columbia School of Journalism. She is driven to empower audiences through compelling storytelling. |
